These are the sounds of Margaret De Bellis, a multi-disciplinary visionary artist, who honors all art forms of creative expression to bring clarity, truth, and wholeness. She creates powerfully in the art form of fully-immersive live audiovisual storytelling experiences and music audio-visual stories, where her innovative visual arts, coined as Virtual Tech-Arts, and musical experiences transport the imagination.
Her soul's expression and uniquely designed audio musical experiences were born by practicing art forms (singing, dancing, abstract art, acting, writing, and meditation) and industry experience in performing arts in live stage productions and dance theatre, music, sound, film, technology, healing, and VR experiences.
Margaret De Bellis is of Italian descent, a Canadian-born music composer, singer, producer, audio designer, and visual and performing artist. Furthermore, she completed her advanced Master of Arts in Music Scoring and Composition at the Academy of Art University, where her audiovisual works THE LIGHT, mm33, and Can You Feel It, were showcased in the 2018 and 2019 Annual Spring Show Exhibition held in San Francisco, California.
De Bellis composed, recorded, and performed her work, designed and edited both audio and video accompaniments, overseeing the post-production engineering process from concept to completion. Audiences at the exhibition immersed themselves in her audiovisual work through headphones and visuals displayed on an iMac, sparking meaningful conversations about her audio and visuals.
Her audiovisual works impact Ontario Canadians and USA national interest audiences in California. She is committed to expanding the reach of her work globally, engaging with audiences worldwide. It is through her perseverance and dedication to her craft that she remains devoted to her objective of re-creating the human experience through audio-visual entertainment, bringing meaning and hope into audiences’ lives.
A heart-centric leader and a voice for the people, De Bellis leads the new experience economy. She is proud to stand among the five percent of women globally who contribute to music and sound in visual media entertainment.
